Mr. Paul Mwenda Mungiria, MSN, BSN, AAS, AS, RN, CCRN.

Mr. Paul Mungiria is the founder and president of MedNoc Training College. He holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing and an Associate Degree in Science in Diversified Studies from Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC). Mr. Mungiria also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Education from  South Western Oklahoma State University (SWOSU). Mr. Mungiria is currently a doctoral student at Oklahoma City University.

Mr. Mungiria is a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. He holds a certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and he is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. He is also a Certified Home Care Administrator.

Mr. Mungiria is a certified Instructor for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA). He is also a certified Pediatric advanced life support provider through  American Heart Association (AHA).  Before becoming a Registered Nurse, he was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Oklahoma.

Mr. Mungiria started as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), then become a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), followed by Certified Medication Aide (CMA). While in the RN Nursing School, he sat for the PN-NCLEX, passed, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). A few months later, he completed the Registered Nurse Education Program and passed RN-NCLEX, thereby becoming a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.

Mr. Mungiria has worked in various healthcare settings. He spent most of his career as a Registered Nurse working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He has also worked in Emergency Department, Med-Surge, Long-Term Acute Care Hospital, Long-Term Care, and Home health.

Mr. Mungiria is a very disciplined hard worker. He is very devoted to the success of our students and the delivery of quality service. He believes in creating opportunities for others through education and training. Mr. Mungiria believes in career growth and upward mobility through hard work and discipline. He believes that all students are talented in different ways, and they can start slowly and advance to the highest height of any career ladder.

 

Mrs. Ann Mungiria, MBA, BBM.

Mrs. Ann Mungiria is the Vice president of MedNoc Training College. Mrs. Mungiria earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mid-America Christian University. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree and a Diploma in Human Resources from Mount Kenya University in Kenya. Mrs. Mungiria has many years of experience, having worked as Human Resource Manager. She has extensive experience in the corporate and management of a business.

She believes that adequate quality training is essential in preparing students to meet the challenges of their job requirements without feeling inadequate. She also believes that following rules and laws are crucial to success. She values honesty, time management, and planning as pillars to success. She wants all students and employees of MedNoc Training College to feel welcome and at home while at MTC.

 

Ms. Nicole Zacharias, CPT.

Mrs. Nicole Zacharias is our Office Administrative Assistant. She attended MedNoc Training College and graduated as a Phlebotomist. Ms. Zacharias became a Certified Phlebotomist after passing her national certification exam. She is a wife and mother to a little girl and two sons. She loves spending time with her family.

 

Mr Mike Stovall.

Mr. Mike Stovall is our Director for Marketing and Recruitment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Oklahoma Christian University. Mr. Stovall has extensive experience in developing and implementing student recruitment strategies.  He loves and enjoys helping new students join MedNoc training College and see them succeed throughout the program and thereafter with their career life.

 

Ms. Anne Muchwe.

Ms. Anne Muchwe is our Director for Admissions and Registrations. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma. Ms. Muchwe has previously worked as a CNA, Home Health Aide, CMA, and ACMA. She has also worked as a Program Coordinator at an assisted living facility here in Oklahoma City. Ms. Muchwe is very passionate about helping people.

Ms. Muchwe is very caring and compassionate. More so, she is always determined to ensure that our students are successful. Ms. Muchwe is excited to be part of students’ success journey here at MedNoc Training College. Ms. Muchwe strives to make a difference in our student’s lives.

 

Mr. Andrew Seruyange, RN, BSN.

Mr. Andrew Seruyange, RN, BSN, is the Chief Examinations Officer with extensive experience as a nurse. He’s in charge of all certification testing at MedNoc Training College. Mr. Seruyange earned his first degree at the University of Makerere in Uganda. He later joined Langston University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Mr. Seruyange is a Registered Nurse, licensed to practice nursing in Oklahoma. Mr. Seruyange believes in fairness. His message to all testing candidates: Study, Prepare, Revise, practice, and practice until you become perfect. Learn how to manage anxiety, plan for your time, listen to instruction very carefully, and ask questions before the test begins. Relax and do your best.”

 

Ms. Jennifer Itote, LPN, CCMA.

Ms. Jennifer Itote is our Lead-Instructor and teaches the following programs: CNA, CMA, HHA, MAT, ACMA, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy Tech, EKG Tech, Pharmacy Tech, Optometric/Ophthalmic Technician and BLS. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse and holds both Oklahoma and Texas LPN License, and Nationally Certification as a Medical Assistant.  She is also a certified BLS Instructor by the American Heart Association.  Ms. Itote has over 27 years of experience in healthcare. She graduated from Francis Tuttle Licensed Practical Nursing School. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to our students and, more so, a great attitude towards making sure that all students are successful. She has a huge heart and a sense of humor, very passionate, and quickly bonds very well with students. Ms. Itote has worked in Long-Term Care LTACH and Hospitals over a long period. Ms. Itote was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Texas and Tennessee. It is in Texas, where she started her nursing career. She began out as a Certified Nurse Aide, then moved up to Restorative Aide and Lead Certified Nurse Aide. In 2002 she moved back to Oklahoma and started working as a CNA at a nursing home in Guthrie. She then became a CMA. Then in 2005, She was accepted into the LPN program at Francis Tuttle. Where she was HOSA President and won the Gold Medal at Nationals for Critical Thinking in Anaheim, California, she then successfully passed my NCLEX and started her career as an LPN. As an LPN, I have worked in Long Term Care, Home Health, Hospice, Assisted Living, ICU, LTACH, and Med Surge. I also have great expertise in lab draws, IV insertion, wound care, NGT/PEG tubes, trach care, and mechanical ventilators. Ms. Adriene Yeahquo, LPN, CCMA, CPT.

Ms. Adriene Yeahquo is our Assistant Lead-Instructor and mainly teaches Phlebotomy Technician, and Medical Assistant. Also, she teaches the following programs: CNA, CMA, MAT, HHA, and ACMA. Ms. Yeahquo is a Licensed Practical Nurse in Oklahoma. Ms. Yeahquo graduated from Platt College. Also, she holds a National certification as a Phlebotomy Technician and Medical Assistant. She is also a certified BLS instructor through AHA. She graduated from Platt College Licensed Practical Nursing School. Before she became an LPN, she was a CNA, CMA, and a Medical Assistant. She has worked her way up to becoming an LPN. Ms. Yeahquo has many years of experience in healthcare. She has worked in Long-Term, Skilled Units, Clinics, and Hospitals. Before she went to nursing school, Ms. Yeahquo attended Beverly Vocational Training College in San Jose, California – where she received her certification in Nursing Assistant. She then attended Trinity Training College in San Jose, California, and received Certification in Medical Assistant. Later she attended Hope Driving Educational College in San Jose, California, and received her Class B commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsement. Afterward. Ms. Yeahquo is very passionate, caring, and works with each student to ensure their success. She brings years of experience to her students every day.

 

Mrs. Patti Michele Spaugy, LPN, CCMA.

Mrs. Spaugy is our Medical Assistant instructor. She also teaches Phlebotomy Technician, CNA, MAT, CMA, ACMA, CMA- Update, and HHA Instructor. She was born and educated in Arkansas, where she first became a nurse. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse in both the State of Oklahoma and Arkansas and Nationally Certified as a Medical Assistant. Mrs. Spaugy is also certified as a BLS instructor through AHA. Mrs. Spaugy attended Rich Mountain Community College Mena, Arkansas, where she obtained an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree and Technical of Sciences Degree and was awarded a Technical/Occupational Certificate in 2000. Mrs. Spaugy also attended and graduated from Mena Esthetics and Cosmetology in 2008 and was a licensed Esthetician by the State Board and Health Department. She brings experience and a wealth of knowledge to her students. Mrs. Spaugy is very committed to our student’s success and teaches students to be caring caregivers who have the training of both the heart and the mind to care for other human beings passionately.

Ms. Krystal Nance, LPN.

Ms. Krystal Nance is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Oklahoma. She teaches CNA, CMA, MAT, MA, Phlebotomy, and Optometric Tech. Ms. Nance graduated from High Plains Technology Center in 2008. She has worked for many years as a nurse in various healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes. Ms. Nance brings to her student both knowledge and experience. She is devoted to her students’ success. Ms. Nance is very easy to get along with and very approachable. She believes these are some of the qualities that a great instructor should have.

 

Ms. Brandie Rawls, LPN, CBCS.

Ms. Brandie Rawls is our CNA and Medical Billing & Coding Specialist instructor. She also teaches CMA, ACMA, MAT, HHA, and BLS. Ms. Rawls graduated from an LPN school at Pontotoc Technology Center in 2005. She is also a certified Medical and Billing, and Coding Specialist. Ms. Rawls also holds a certification as a Basic Life Support instructor from the American Heart Association, Certified IV nurse, Certified wound care nurse. Ms. Rawls has worked as a nurse in Long-Term Care Facilities, Acute Hospitals, and prisons. Before becoming a nurse, she was a CNA and CMA.

 

Dr. Bruce Henderson, PharmD.

Dr. Henderson teaches our Pharmacy Technician program. He graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy.  Dr. Henderson is a licensed pharmacist in the State of Oklahoma. He has so many years of work experience as a licensed pharmacist. He has worked in both hospital and retail pharmacy. He brings with him knowledge and years of experience and expertise to our students.

 

Ms. Aleasha Riley, LPN.

Ms. Aleasha Riley is our weekend phlebotomy instructor. She is teaching; CNA, CMA, MAT, ACMA. She graduated from Rose State College in 2001. Ms. Riley has been a Licensed Practical Nurse in Oklahoma since 2001. Ms. Riley has worked in Long-Term Care, Acute Hospitals, Home Health Agency, and as a school nurse. She values honesty, hard work, and commitment to professionalism.

 

Mrs. Sherry Schmidt, CPC-P, BS.

Mrs. Sherry Schmidt teaches Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Letters, and Science from National University. She has over 22 years of experience working and teaching as a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. She has extensive knowledge and a strong command of ICD-10-CM, ICD10-PCS, CPT 4, HCPCS, Modifiers, CMS Compliance, regulatory and reimbursement guidelines. Mrs. Schmidt has the following certifications: AAPC-CPC-P, CH-CBS, ICD-10 Proficiency.

 

Mrs. Lawanda McCleskey, LPN.

Mrs. Lawanda McCleskey is our CMA instructor. She also teaches ACMA, CNA, HHA, MAT, and CMA-Update programs. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); licensed to practice nursing in the State of Oklahoma. She has over 23 years of nursing experience. Mrs. McCleskey was born at Talihina Oklahoma and is blessed with three children. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring new healthcare professionals and has a bubbly personality and makes learning very fun and enjoyable. She is very enthusiastic, energetic, a cheerful giver, honest and full of laughter. She loves water sports, motorcycles, sewing, and hanging out with the grandkids. Mrs. McCleskey currently serves part-time at her church as a bookkeeper.  “Life is great.” Says Mrs. McCleskey.

 

Ms. Ruby Akuffo, RN, BSN, AAS.

Ms. Akuffo is a Registered Nurse. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Nursing from Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Oklahoma City University. She currently a Doctoral student at Oklahoma City University, where she is majoring in Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Akuffo has vast experience working as a registered nurse in various healthcare settings. She is very nice to students and staff. She ensures that students are at ease while taking their exams.

 

Mr. Jacob Muriithi, RN, ADN.

Mr. Jacob Muriithi, RN, ADN, is our Examiner. As a test observer, he brings with him the knowledge, skills, and nursing experience. Mr. Muriithi graduated from an LPN school at Francis Tuttle and then went to earn his Associate degree in Nursing from Oklahoma City Community College. He holds an RN license in the state of Oklahoma. Before he became a Registered Nurse, Mr. Muriithi was a CNA, HHA, and LPN. He’s worked in Long-Term (Nursing Home) Home Health and Hospital. His advice to all the testing candidates is that be thoroughly prepared, study hard, attend your classes, labs, and clinical. Engage with your teachers to ensure that you are well prepared before you take your state or national exam. Rest enough before the night before your test date, and most importantly be confident, and believe in yourself.

 

Mrs. Sylvia Yego, RN, BSN.

Mrs. Sylvia Yego is our Test Observer and Proctor. She proctors CNA, CMA, ACMA, and NHA examinations. She a Registered Nurse (RN) and hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Langston University. She has more than ten years of nursing experience, spanning from the hospital, long-term, and home health. Mrs. Yego is very friendly, fair, and just to her testing candidates.  She says that the key to passing examinations knows what you are required of you, then having confidence and courage. She encourages students to prepare and practice before coming to take the test thoroughly.

 

Mrs. Elizabeth Peralta, BBA.

Mrs. Elizabeth Peralta is our NHA and AAH examination Proctor. She holds a certificate in Legal Office Procedure and Associates in Applied Science in Legal Secretary from Oklahoma City Community College. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.

 

Ms. Esther Wambui, RN, BSN.

Ms. Esther Wambui is our Test observer and proctor. She proctors CNA, HHA, CMA, ACMA, and NHA examinations. She graduated from Oklahoma State University, where she attained an Associate degree in Applied Science in Nursing. She attained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Nazarene University.  She is a Registered Nurse licensed to practice nursing in the State of Oklahoma.

 

Ms. Allene Hamilton, RN, AAS.

Ms. Hamilton is our Test Observer and Proctor. She proctors NHA, CNA, CMA, and ACMA examinations. She graduated from New Mexico State University Alamogordo in 2001 with an Associate degree in Applied Science in Nursing. Ms. Hamilton has many years of nursing experiencing. She has worked in various healthcare settings, including Acute Care Hospitals, Long-Term Care Hospitals, Home Health, and Long-Term Care. Ms. Hamilton has traveled in many states as a traveling nurse.

Mr. Peter Kimani, RN, BSN.

Mr. Peter Kimani is our Test observer and proctor. He proctors CNA, CMA, and ACMA examinations. He is a graduate of Oklahoma City Community College, where he attained an Associate degree in Applied Science in Nursing and attained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Registered Nurse licensed to practice nursing in the State of Oklahoma.
