What does CNA?

CNA stands for Certified Nurse Aide. The legal name for CNA in Oklahoma is Long-Term Aide.

How Often do you Offer CNA classes or training?

CNA classes are offered in three different schedules:

  1. 2  Week morning CNA class offered in during the week.
  2. 2  Week evening CNA class offered during the week.
  3.  Weekend class.

Does MedNoc offer online CNA classes?

No. MedNoc does not offer online CNA class. In Oklahoma no schools are approved to offer online CNA classses. Oklahoma State department of Health (OSDH) Nurse Aide registry requires that CNA students trainied in a classroom, with clinical hours and lab hours

Does CNA Certification expire?

Yes. CNA certification expire every two years. You must have worked at least for 8 hours within the two years to be able to renew your certification. There is no renewal fees. Please follow the link below for more information

How can I become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)?

A CNA student must enroll in an approved CNA training school in Oklahoma. The after completing the CNA or HHA course at MedNoc, students are allowed to take the Oklahoma state certification exam and are issued with CNA or HHA certification upon passing the exam, the student is name is listed on Oklahoma Nurse Aide registry. What are the career opportunities available for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA)?

CNAs and HHAs are in high demand Oklahoma as well as in other states. A CNA can be employed in the following areas: hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospices, medical centers, urgent care centers, day care and pre-schools.
